Thisis not an actual rum. It is a rum cream liquor. Certainly made with Bumbu rum. It blows Bailey's away. Far superior to almost every Irish Cream I have tasted and other rum creams simply cannot compare on any level. This is creamy without being thick, balanced and simply delicious. TheOriginal Bumbu is made from sugar cane sourced from eight Caribbean islands, distilled in Barbados, infused with spices, fruits, and herbs and bottled at 70 proof. Bumbu XO is made from locally grown Panamanian sugar cane and pure spring water.
Unfortunately this answer is a gross oversimplification. Reality is a bit more complicated, especially when you consider protected (which is actually quite a difficult access modifier to fully understand - most people who think they know what protected means really don't).
